Discover who the already revealed characters are from “Superman”, a film from the new DCU, directed by James Gunn, and starring David Corenswet
This Thursday, the 19th, the first teaser trailer for “Superman” was revealed, a film that will be part of the new media project for DC Comics characters, called DC Universe (DCU), which appears under the command of the filmmaker and co -president of DC Studios, james gunn.
The preview reveals not only the first images of the Fortress of Solitude, the place used as Superman’s refuge and base of operations and the conflict that will be initiated in Boravia, a fictional nation in Europe existing on Earth-1 and Earth-1, but also It also shows the characterizations of some of the characters.

Superman
Also known on Earth as Clark Kent and on the alien planet he comes from, Krypton, as Kal-El, the Superman of David Corenswet (Twisters), is the protagonist of the story.
The plot will follow him after he leaves Smallville, located in Kansas, in the United States, showing the character’s first experiences as a reporter at the newspaper entitled Planeta Diário and the beginning of his career as a hero in Metropolis.
Jonathan Kent/Daddy Kent
Jonathan Kent, played in the film by Pruitt Taylor Vince (The Mentalist) was a farmer from Smallville, Kansas, in the United States, until he found an alien rocket where he first saw the Kryptonian baby Kal-El, who he decides to adopt and name Clark Kent.
Crypto
Krypto is Superman’s pet dog. Just like his owner, he has superpowers, such as super strength and the ability to fly, among these.
Lois Lane
Lived by Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), Lois Lane is an investigative journalist who works at the Daily Planet. She will become Clark Kent’s love interest.
Lex Luthor
Lex Luthor is Superman’s archenemy. The supervillain, played by Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road), is a brilliant scientist and billionaire industrialist who owns LuthorCorp, a company that developed in biotechnology, weapons technology, communications, and among other aspects, it also has secret laboratories where genetic modification experiments are carried out of living organisms using meteor rocks.
Mr. Incredible
Edi Gathegi (StartUp) is the one who wears the costume of Mr. Incredible, one of the most intelligent beings in the DC universe who played an important role in the Justice Society, the group that preceded the Justice League.
Hawkgirl
A warrior who had different identities in the comics, Hawkgirl will be played in the film by Isabella Merced (Dora and the Lost City). Among her main skills are body combat and the ability to communicate with birds.
Shapeshifter
Anthony Carrigan (Barry) is introduced as the hero Shapeshifter, whose ability is to be able to transform his body however he wants.
Guy Gardner
Nathan Fillion plays Guy Gardner, one of the Green Lanterns.
In addition to these, the cast will also bring SkylerGisondo (Licorice Pizza) and Wendell Pierce (The Wire), who were cast to play Jimmy Olsen, the hero’s best friend, and Perry White, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet. They do not appear in the trailer.
