The 2024 Billboard Music Awards were held in Las Vegas, where Taylor Swift won 10 awards and Ron Chappell won best new artist.

The prestigious 2024 Billboard Music Awards were held on Thursday, December 12, in Las Vegas.

The night featured a win for Taylor Swift, who took home 10 awards, including top artist, top female artist and top Billboard 200 album for “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Other stars also received awards:

  • Best New Artist: Chappell Ron

  • Best Group: Fuerza Regida

  • Best Performer: Morgan Wallen

  • Best Rap Song: Drake

  • Best Soundtrack: Trolls: Together Again

  • Top Hot 100 Song: Teddy Swims, Out of Control

  • Best Dance Song: Dua Lipa, Houdini

  • Best Duet: Post Malone feat. Morgan Wallen, I Have Help

  • Billboard Global 200 Top Artist: Benson Boone – Beautiful Things

  • Radio Song Artist of the Year: Taylor Swift

  • Best R&B Artist: SZA

  • Best Rock Artist on Tour: Coldplay

It was previously reported that Mariah Carey’s song All I Want for Christmas Is You reconfirmed its status as a major Christmas hit.
