Absence of TOP, ex-BIGBANG, at the premiere of ‘Round 6’ generates controversy

In new controversies about the cast of the new season of ‘Round 6′, internet users notice the absence of TOP, ex-BIGBANG, in the series’ premiere

The new season of ‘Round 6′ is arriving and with it new controversies involving the series’ cast come to light. The controversy begins with the release of the second poster, in which fans noticed the absence of TOPformer member of BIGBANG, whose real name is Choi Seun Hyun.

The new cast of the series also participated in a recent press conference to promote the new season at an official Netflix event, in which we can also notice that TOP is not present.

The Korean press (Via Allkpop) believes that the ex-BIGBANG’s omission from the series’ promotions may be related to the drug scandal he faced in 2017, when he was convicted of smoking marijuana, receiving a 10-month prison sentence and a release. 2 year probation after pleading guilty.

The former BigBang member made a significant appearance in the first trailer released in November, in which participants played the infamous “Red Light, Green Light” game.

However, it provoked negative reactions from netizens as it brought back the controversies of the main stars who were allowed to participate in the press conference, including Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun and the new star of the cast, Lee Jin Wook.

Despite the controversies, the second season “Round 6” arrives on Netflix on December 26th.
