BTS’s J-Hope’s biggest regret during his time in the army

After completing 18 months of mandatory service, BTS member J-Hope revealed his biggest regret while in the army. Find out!

In October this year, BTS fans had the opportunity to welcome the second member of the group after being exempt from mandatory military service: J-Hopean idol who finished his duties after 18 months of enlistment, becoming the second member of the boy group to return to activities.

On the day of his dismissal, the idol, who was welcomed by Jinmade his first statement to the press in front of the barracks, thanking the ARMYs, BTS fans, for waiting, and the citizens of Wonju, the city where the base where he served is located, for always treating the military with affection and respect.

“I have to say a few words as a form of thanks. Firstly, thank you very much. I was discharged from the army in good health. Thank you really. I want to thank all the reporters who came here. I was able to finish the job well and healthy thanks to the fans.

Actually, what I wanted to say is that while I served for a year and a half as an assistant training instructor, I went on many marches and met many Wonju citizens along the way. They always greeted the soldiers and applauded us, and I wanted to thank the citizens first. It was really very emotional and I don’t know how to express this great emotion for them. And during this one and a half year, what I felt was that to protect the country, many long-serving members of the armed forces are doing a lot with their hard work and dedication for their nation. And for them, if the people of our country could give them our warm attention and love, I think it would be very meaningful.

Thank you very much for waiting for me. Thank you for giving me so much encouragement, support and love. I am being discharged from the army in good health. Thanks!

Greetings!” said the idol.

During the live broadcast, Hobias he is affectionately called by ARMYs, joked that, in the beginning, he “almost died of thirst”, and that he always wondered why they couldn’t buy water for the other soldiers.

However, the artist reveals that he only got the answer to his question after becoming an assistant training instructor, where he realized that things can be very chaotic. However, even with all the chaos, J-Hope He still made a point of implementing a change, and started fetching water for his companions.

“After being an assistant training instructor, those times were so chaotic. So, after becoming one, I got the guys water,” the singer revealed.
