This Friday, the 29th, PLEDIS Entertainment announced, in a note (Via Soompi), the end of the exclusive contract of fromis_9, the company’s only girl group, which ends on December 31, 2024.

This is PLEDIS Entertainment.We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the fans who loved fromis_9.
The exclusive contract with fromis_9 (Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Park Ji Won, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Seo Yeon, Lee Chae Young, Lee Na Gyung, Baek Ji Heon) will expire on December 31st.
We discussed at length and in depth with the members of fromis_9 about the future and direction of each member and came to an amicable conclusion to terminate the artist’s exclusive contract.
fromis_9 joined us in August 2021 and performed a wide variety of songs including “Talk & Talk”, “DM”, “Stay This Way”, “#menow” and “Supersonic” and became artists who were not just loved by their fandom, but by many K-pop fans.
We would also like to thank fromis_9 who have always done their best and shown us a wide spectrum of different charms over the last seven years.
fromis_9 will release their fan song, which is their expression of gratitude for their fandom flover, on December 23 and will participate in their final engagements, ending their official activities as artists under PLEDIS Entertainment.
We wholeheartedly support fromis_9’s future efforts.

The group formed by Lee Sae Rom, Song Ha Young, Park Ji Won, Roh Ji Sun, Lee Seo Yeon, Lee Chae Young, Lee Na Gyung, Baek Ji Heon, debuted in January 2018 and has been part of PLEDIS Entertainment since 2021.
