Montenegro was the first to select its representative for Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland. The national selection was won by the group NeonoeN with the track CLICKBAIT
Montenegro has become the first country to announce a participant in Eurovision 2025.
At the Montesong national selection, held on November 27 in Podgorica, the group NeonoeN won with the song CLICKBAIT. The result was determined by audience votes and a professional jury.
The group NeonoeN was founded in 2012 under the name Neon and now consists of Marko Vukcevic, Ilija Pijevic, Filip Vulanovic and Milan Vujevic. Their winning song, CLICKBAIT, has a modern sound and social tones, which, according to the participants, touches on the theme of information chaos in the digital age.
This year, Montenegro returned to the competition after a two-year break. The country had its biggest success in 2015, when Knez took 13th place in Vienna with the song Adio.
