CEO of DC Studios, James Gunn, once again confirmed plans for Terminator in the productions that will be part of the new phase of the DC shared universe

It is worth remembering that this is not the first time that the CEO has revealed plans for the mercenary in the DCU. In May this year, he confirmed in response to a fan that there is a project for the character in the new phase of the DC shared universe by responding to an unusual request on Instagram.
In a publication made on the personal profile of Gunn on the platform, in which he shared a selfie wearing a t-shirt printed with the cover of the book Dennis O’Neil and Neal Adams “Superman vs Muhammad Ali”, he received the following comment: “Please blink if you have plans for the Terminator, I’ve been waiting for his recognition for so long”, to which the CEO responded with a winking emoji; remember:
Archenemy of the Teen Titans, specifically Dick Grayson, the mercenary, whose real identity is Slade Wilson, has already gained a live-action version in the old DCU, as his first appearance in the post-credits scene of “Justice League”, where appeared interpreted by Joe Manganiello.
It is worth remembering that the new DCU already has 5 titles that will be released in the following confirmed chronology:
- ‘Command of the Creators’ — December 2024
- ‘Superman’ — July 11, 2025
- ‘Peacemaker’: Season 2 — second half of 2025
- ‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ — June 26, 2026
- ‘Lanterns’ — scheduled for sometime in 2026
