The teaser trailer for the live-action ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ is making the rounds on social media; Find out what happens in the scenes!

The live-action of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ had its first teaser trailer leaked on social media this Tuesday, 19th. On X (formerly Twitter), fan pages and profiles have shared the video and praised the fidelity that the images present in relation to the animated feature film from DreamWorks Animation released in 2010.

What happens in the teaser?

The leak violates copyright laws, therefore, it is not possible for it to be reproduced by RECREIO. Still, there is a way to describe what happens in the images.

In the revealed scenes, it is possible to see the moment in which Hiccup reveals to his father, Stoick, that he cannot kill dragons and, finally, the iconic and unforgettable encounter with Toothless, who he should take his life, but who ends up discovering a strong connection.

It is worth remembering that, on November 15, Empire magazine exclusively released the first official image of the film, where you can see the actor Mason Thamesin Hiccup’s skin; check it out:

In addition to Thamesthe cast includes Nico Parker to bring Astrid to life; Gerard Butlerwho voiced the protagonist’s father in the animated trilogy, to play Stoick; and Nick Frost who will be playing the role of Gobber. Dean DeBloisa filmmaker who was also responsible for directing the animations, returns to history to write, direct and produce the live-action.

The version with real actors of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ should be released in theaters in the United States on June 13, 2025. In Brazil, there is still no information about when the production should start showing in theaters.
