TXT’s Soobin takes temporary hiatus due to health issues

This Tuesday, the 19th, BigHit Music issued a note (via Soompi) announcing that Soobinleader of TXT, will need to take a break from his activities for health reasons, after undergoing a medical evaluation as he showed signs of being unwell.

For this reason, Soobin will not be present at the offline fan events and Encore concert of the “ACT: PROMISE” tour in Japan, the fan signing event in Shanghai, the 2024 MAMA Awards and other year-end ceremonies and activities.

“Hello.

This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We would like to provide some information about TOMORROW X TOGETHER member Soobin’s future activities.

Soobin recently showed signs of being unwell and went to the hospital for medical attention. The medical team informed him that he would need enough time to rest and recover.

We prioritized Soobin’s recovery and had discussions about future activities with all members. Soobin himself is determined to continue with his activities, however, we feel it would be best for him to focus on improving his health for now, as recommended by the medical team.

Consequently, Soobin will unfortunately not be able to participate in future events such as the MAMA Awards, offline fan events in Japan, ACT: PROMISE Encore in JAPAN, and fan autograph event in Shanghai, among other year-end ceremonies and activities. We would like to apologize to our fans and ask for their generous understanding.

Soobin plans to rest as much as he needs and maintain his daily life to return to fans in his healthiest form again. The company will do its best to support Soobin so he can recover and meet fans in good health.
