INTERVIEW – In missing part By Guillaume Senez, the actress plays Romain Duris, a newly divorced woman who tries her best to see her son in Tokyo.
Facing Romain Duris missing part Guillaume Senez stars as Jessica, a recently divorced woman who tries her best to see her son in Tokyo Arkin at a music show at Bouffes du Nord in Paris.
Madame Figaro. – My character ?
Judith Kemla. – Jessica experiences the worst thing a mother can endure: a child’s tear. She’s a colorful character, a little rock ‘n’ roll. She doesn’t convey the image of a perfect mother, and it’s quite liberating to play characters that pass too quickly from one emotion to another.
What I loved about Guillaume Senez’s production ?
He has a very unique way of working, because he gives the actors a script without dialogue. He tells the main points, what is happening, the sequence of thoughts, the events… but we have to imagine what we are going to say, use our words. It’s dizzying, but I love this exercise because we get to invent something while being our awful selves.

My next challenge ?
Play Joan of Arc The trial of Joandirected by Yves Bonin. This musical show is taken from the trial of a political prisoner, as written by the clerks of the time. It is quite astonishing to find what he said. she was a completely revolutionary, free and emancipated woman who brought a different vision to the world. It was a flame of freedom, impudence and even fun.
I still have the holy fire ?
Yes, I still have great joy in every project and have the opportunity to do what I love. I still believe that anything is possible.
Talking about myself for promotion, homework ?
No, if the questions are interesting, it can be great.
I still find great joy in every project
Judith Kemla
The question I don’t answer ?
I hate being asked to define myself. We are living beings in constant motion, and I have always refused to give myself a place or a personality.
Wooden tongue or too loose ?
I might be a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I got through with my book Our silence left us alone (where Judith Kemla describes having suffered domestic violence editor’s note) I crossed the red line by talking about intimate things that are actually social issues that absolutely need to be talked about. The word is so powerful that we have to dare to take it and know that it can have an impact on the world.
My mood moment ?
I go through challenges as confidently as possible, even if it’s not easy.
I still believe that anything is possible
Judith Kemla
Misunderstanding about me ?
No. People may try to discredit me, but I don’t worry about that.
What I like people to say about me ?
I guess I don’t care one bit…
Last time I was proud of myself ?
The greatest victories are achieved in our daily lives. I am proud of myself when I keep calm, when I find solutions, but also when I agree to change my vision of things…
My news ?
I turned around As long as it’s soft (tentative title), Michelle Leclerc’s film with Lea Drucker, Benjamin Laverne, Vincent Elbaz, Melha Bedia… This comedy questions the place of men in our modern society publication.
What am I going to do after this interview? ?
I am going to pick up my lovely 7 year old granddaughter from school.
