After four months since the release of the single ‘Heaven’, Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon is back as a soloist with ‘Letter To Myself’
SHE IS BACK! This Monday, 18th, Taeyeona member of Girls’ Generation, made her long-awaited solo comeback with her sixth mini-album “Letter To Myself”, an album that was accompanied by a cinematic clip for the title track of the same name. Check it out!
In addition to “Letter To Myself”, the album has five more tracks. They are: “Hot Mess”, “Blue Eyes”, “Strangers”, “Blur” and “Disaster”. The full album is now available on the main streaming platforms.
During a live event with fans that anticipated the launch of the new comeback, Taeyeon commented that he worked “on each song as if it were the title track, giving equal attention and care to all of them”, in addition to dedicating the song “Blue Eyes” to the fans, stating that, as presented in the lyrics, during the performances, she and the SONEs complete each other.
Still at the event, the Girls’ Generation leader also revealed that, initially, the plan of SM Entertainment, the company responsible for managing her career, was to place “Disaster” as the album’s title track. However, the artist insisted that the main track be “Letter To Myself”, as she believed it would be a stronger song, while “Disaster” was “too good” for her.

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the release of the album “In The Lonely Hour”, Sam Smith released a new version of the hit ‘I’m Not The Only One’, this time, in collaboration with the k-pop idol Taeyeonsoloist and member of Girls’ Generation. In addition to Taeyeonthe title track of the album that launched his career Smith in the music industry also gained two versions with the North American R&B star, Alicia Keys: one recorded in the studio and the other live, with the duo performing the song at Jungle City Studios, in New York, United States.
