One evening in 2011, a door slammed with the keys inside. My husband and I are going to sleep at my friend Charles’ house. A report on TV shows a woman tying a bow tie. I said: “We’re going to do the same thing.”

My husband Victorien de Gastines and this famous Charles (Fourmaux, editor’s note), who became my partners in what we called Balzac Paris. They worked in the consulting industry and in the investment fund. For three years, we dedicated our evenings and weekends to it. I only left my job in 2014.
