Time to miss the adventures of “Little Stuart Little”; remember the conversation between the protagonists in issue 1142 of Recreio Magazine
With the look of a cool teenager, good humor and friendliness, the little mouse Stuart Little won over everyone when he debuted in cinemas in the late 1990s in “Stuart Little”. It was so pleasing that new films were made, as in film 2, Stuart adapts to his human family, goes to school, plays sports and gains a little sister.
Despite the care of his mother, who still thinks her son is too young, he loves to have fun like anyone else. That’s why he sometimes takes the risk of joining a football match with the boys at school or decides to take an exciting flight with his brother’s toy plane.
Problems at home
The little mouse loves his family, but suddenly he starts to feel alone. He notices that his brother, George, is making new friends at school and ends up leaving him aside.
Stuart realizes that he would also like to have a group like him. Or at least it was your size. One fine day, returning from school in his convertible car, he has a surprise. Margalo the little bird falls inside while running away from Falcon, the meanest bird in New York City.
Feeling sorry, Stuart invites the girl to live in his house and falls in love with her. Until, without any explanation, Margalo leaves.
Worried, Stuart goes looking for his friend with a funny partner: Snowbell, the family cat. Together, they create a thousand messes trying to get rid of Falcon and discover Margalo’s secret. And, amidst lots of action and special effects, Stuart and the gang will discover the importance of friendship.

The real star
At 11 years old, Jonathan LipnickiI was already a star! He spoke to RECREIO in issue 1142 of the printed magazine about his career and the film after it was released. Check it out:
RECREATION: What was it like working with Stuart?
JONATHAN: There were models of the mouse in the scenes, so when I had to talk to him I knew where to look.
RECREATION: How do you memorize your lines?
JONATHAN: I read and practice with someone at home until I memorize everything. In the studio, I study again, working more on interpretation.
RECREATION: Does anyone treat you differently because you’re an actor?
JONATHAN: No. Some friends even took a while to realize that I was an actor because I don’t talk about it when I’m in class.
RECREATION: Do you play football like your character?
JONATHAN:I am not. Luckily my character only runs from the ball. He’s as bad as me!
The virtual star
Discover the secrets of Stuart, the computer-created mouse, in this virtual interview conducted by his older brother, George Little.
GEORGE: What did you like most about the film?
STUART: I learned a lot about friendship. In the most difficult times, you must be by your friends’ side, supporting and helping them to overcome their problems.
GEORGE: Did you have any stunt doubles in the action scenes?
STUART: I usually rely on a stunt rat, but he couldn’t help with film 2 in the series, as he was leaving for a trip around the world. And, you know, for a little mouse a trip like that takes a long time… I still receive the postcards he sends to this day.
GEORGE: Was he afraid to participate in the adventure?
STUART: Perhaps. The film was full of action and dangerous scenes. I spent two months preparing with a trainer and lost more than 100 grams of weight!
