After accidentally editing scenes from the series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, it was reported by the website ComicBook that the disney also altered a scene from another Marvel production. This time, the affected series was “The Punisher”.
The portal reports that the change came in a tribute paid to the legendary Marvel writer, Stan Lee, present at the end of one of the episodes of the second season. However, what caught the attention of fans is that the same dedication appears at the end of the third season of “Jessica Jones”, and there it was not changed.
But the cuts made in honor don’t stop there. The international press also reported that the memorial made for the late actor in 2018, Reg E. Catheywho plays the character James Lucas, father of the protagonist, present in the series “Luke Cage”, was also removed.
So far, it is not known whether the changes were made on purpose or accidentally. Marvel and Disney have yet to comment on the matter.
