‘Wallace & Gromit – Revenge’ gets new trailer and poster

Sequel to the 2005 film, ‘Wallace & Gromit – Revenge’ premieres 30 years after the start of the franchise, as it should be released next year

This Wednesday, the 16th, Netflix released a new teaser and the first poster for the animation ‘Wallace & Gromit – Revenge’, sequel to ‘Wallace & Gromit: The Battle of the Vegetables’, from 2005.

In the video preview, you can see scientist Wallace and his dog Gromit facing pressure from the media after Wallace is accused of something he didn’t do. In the end, the feared penguin, Feathers McGraw, presented as the antagonist of the first film in the franchise, reappears as the person responsible for taking the peace away from the duo; look:

As for the poster, the art brings together Wallace and Gromit alongside the scientist’s latest invention, an “intelligent” gnome. In the background, you can also see the shadow of the villain Feathers McGraw.

As revealed by the synopsis available on the Aardman website, the studio behind the first film, the plot of ‘Wallace & Gromit – Revenge’, follows “Gromit’s concern that Wallace is becoming too dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents an ‘intelligent’ gnome that appears to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past may be plotting things, it’s up to Gromit to fight sinister forces and save his master… or Wallace may never be able to do so again. to invent again!”

The story, which should appear in the Netflix catalog on January 3, 2025, features the return of Nick Park in the direction, next to Merlin Crossingham. The script is signed by Mark Burton (‎”‎Madagascar”), while production is under the care of Claire Jennings (‎‎”‎‎Coraline”‎‎).
