Belgium’s King Philippe and his wife Mathilde began a three-day state visit to France on Monday, October 14. On this occasion, Emmanuel Macron and his wife welcomed them to a state dinner in their honor at the Elysée.

As tradition dictates, several celebrities were also invited. Among them is the Belgian TV presenter and model Tatiana Silva. She, who announced her pregnancy last August at the age of 39, stepped out in a long black lace dress with a red clutch to match her big earrings.

Shortly after, French-Luxembourgish presenter Stephane Bern was photographed on the Elysée red carpet alongside French journalist Adelaide de Clermont-Tonner and Belgian fashion designer Edouard Vermeulen. It was the latter that Queen Matilda called upon to create her wedding dress in 1999. Bernard Arnault and his wife Hélène Mercier-Arnot were also there. The wife of the head of LVMH wore an outfit worthy of the MET Gala for the occasion. A long white dress with a sheer cape over it, embroidered with gold armor.

Earlier, the Belgian royal couple was welcomed at the Arc de Triomphe ceremony. The sovereign and French head of state then conducted a troop review before laying traditional wreaths – just one, in the colors of both countries – at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
