This California Hairstyle Meghan Markle Never Wore at Buckingham Palace

Prince Harry’s wife opted for a beauty look that is a change from her usual ways.

Meghan Markle is making a splash (without Prince Harry heading to Africa) at a charity gala in Los Angeles this weekend. Archie and Lilibeth’s mother couldn’t go unnoticed in the red Carolina Herrera dress she had already worn. But first of all, the former actress stands out for her hairstyle.

Indeed, Meghan Markle chose lengths that worked with the “back to the beach” spirit. Very Californian and boho style that we didn’t know about. Indeed, since her engagement to Prince Harry, she’s opted for very sleek and minimalist hairstyles – a very sleek high ponytail or a decidedly regal low bun – she’s barely allowed herself a perfectly controlled wave or blur effect to frame her face.

Should we see a message in this bias toward wilder and less rigorously run threads? While the couple is in turmoil following the departure of several employees of their Archewell Foundation and accusations of moral harassment aimed directly at Meghan Markle, the latter is trying to show that she is freer than ever and somehow detached from it all.

She also made a spectacular entrance (worthy of Scarlett O’Hara) in a fiery red dress Gone with the wind) while focusing on much more subdued makeup than usual with a simple touch of blush and glow. A way to finally combine the codes of Hollywood glamor with simplicity west coast.
