After health-related hiatus, NCT’s Renjun will return to activities

Away from the stage seven months ago for health reasons, NCT member Renjun will finally return to activities

In April, SM Entertainment, the company responsible for managing NCT’s career, announced that Renjun would be taking a temporary hiatus on medical advice, after experiencing “a recent worsening of her health and symptoms of anxiety”.

Due to the diagnosis, the star was unable to participate in the show in Brazil by the unit NCT DREAM, in which he is a part, held at the beginning of September in São Paulo, with only the participation of Mark, Jeno, Haechan, Chenle, Jaemin and Jisung.

Now, this Monday, the 7th, SM issued a new statement, announcing that Renjun will officially return to activities, due to “significant progress” in his treatment. Check out the full translation of the statement:

“Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We would like to update you on NCT member Renjun’s health and return to activities.

Due to health problems, Renjun has been participating in activities flexibly. However, he has made significant progress thanks to proper treatment and rest.

After discussions and considering Renjun’s eagerness to return, as well as advice from the medical team, we announce that he can safely resume activities. He will officially return after this announcement.

We thank the fans for their warm support and encouragement during Renjun’s recovery. SM Entertainment is committed to ensuring that he can participate in activities in good health.

Thanks”.
