Of all the fashion movements that appeared at the spring-summer 2025 shows in Paris, New York, London and Milan, five of them will (or won’t) pass the street test.

Fashion week is coming to an end, and with it the fashions for the coming spring are taking shape. A season that promises to be bold and innovative. Between dark pastel shades, revised workwear or neo-bourgeois styles, 5 new trends stand out. They are diverse, bold and innovative. But will you be trying to wear them when summer comes?

Fringes

In skirts, dresses or jackets, fringes are rocking everywhere. Whether they’re lurex, suede, denim, leather or cotton, they move with the rhythm of our steps, subtly and cinematically revealing our legs. They come in a wide variety of styles for equally varied effects, but remain relatively easy to wear day and night.

Asymmetry

Less easy to wear, asymmetry is technical, especially this season when it’s important on trousers. “Alone Leg” is unique and needs a bit of work to avoid falling into an overly literal experimental style. Fortunately, asymmetry is also more classic on tops or blouses.

Spirit of Boudoir

The logical continuation of the underwear trend, the boudoir is more elaborate. It mixes the sensuality of lace, the audacity of a bra or see-through bodice, and a bit of old-fashioned sass. A tendency to rehearse at night, to spend the night on the mic rather than drinking with office colleagues.

Microphone fashion

From short dresses to confidence pants, there is a world of micro fashion. The general idea is simple, the shorter the better. The trend of going out in street underwear is with relaxed designers who continue to offer models as short as possible.

Transparency

It’s been a fashion favorite for designers for decades. Sheer appears on any type of garment, it can both reveal the skin and be used as a layering material. In both cases, it continues to be used with subtlety and elegance.
