Composing the Japanese album “Face Yourself”, released in 2018, the track “Let Go” presents a very literal meaning right in its title, as it addresses farewells and detachments in life, such as the difficulty of letting go of a special person, even knowing that it is necessary; listen!
2. Am I Wrong (Wings)
“Am I Wrong” was composed by Grammy winner, Blues Keb’Mopresenting a strong influence of the genre in its lyrics and rhythm. The subject addressed can be seen as a social critique of the insanity of the contemporary world and the selfishness that lives in people’s hearts.
3. Spine Breaker (Skool Luv Affair)
Another track full of social criticism is “Spine Breaker”, featured on one of BTS’s first albums, “Skool Luv Affair”. The lyrics address the rampant consumerism of young students, with the song’s title being a metaphor for teenagers who “break their parents’ backs” by following trends, i.e., burdening them financially.
4. Rain (Dark & Wild)
Several BTS tracks in the early years after their debut are full of raps and strong beats, but “Rain” is one of the ones that stands out for its calm rhythm and lighter vocals.
