Ukrainian singer Artem Kotenko won the National selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.
A 12-year-old performer from Akhtyrka received 5 points from the jury and a maximum of 6 points from the audience for the song Dim. Note that Zlata Ivaniv received only 11 points: the jury gave her 6 points, and the audience – 5 points; According to the rules of the competition, the audience has an advantage in this case.
After the results were announced, Artem couldn’t contain his emotions. The winner gave an insightful speech and thanked not only the judges and audience for their support, but also the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the opportunity to fulfill his childhood dream.
