This Wednesday, starting at 10 pm Brasília time, it will be possible to watch two new episodes of “Agatha Desde Sempre”, a production derived from Marvel’s “WandaVision”, which will focus on the witch and villain Agatha Harkness, played by the actress Kathryn Hahn.
The story of the series will follow the origin of the character, continuing the plot of “WandaVision” after the witch breaks a spell that kept her prisoner. When trying to resume her evil practices, she discovers that she has lost her powers and, to recover them, she will need to embark on a dangerous journey, counting on the help of some unexpected friends.
In an exclusive interview with Omelete, Kathryn revealed that she maintained the same standard of quality that delighted viewers in “WandaVision”. She used approaches that are unusual in the MCU, since the story will focus on horror, but without leaving aside the audience that is accustomed to the films that defined the studio.
The show will appeal to people who loved WandaVision and loved all the pastiche and the costumes and the music — but also the creepiness and the Twilight Zone vibe of it all. And then, of course, the depth of the show: the relationships and the heartbreak and the tragedy. And that’s what Agatha does as well, but of course it has a different aura because we’re doing horror. She’s a villain. There’s a shift in sensibility — but it’s the same audience I’m trying to speak to.”
“Agatha Since Always” will be available tonight via Disney+, following Marvel’s release pattern, with new episodes available weekly through October 30.
