This Wednesday, the 18th, “Agatha Since Always” premieres on Disney+, a spin-off of “WandaVision” that follows the villain played by Kathryn Hahnembarking on a mission to regain his powers with the help of somewhat suspicious allies. Relive the trailer!
The series will have a total of 8 episodes, with the first two chapters available on the streaming platform’s catalog at 10 pm. The remaining episodes should be released weekly until October 30th.
Before following the new plot of the witch who survived the Salem massacre, it is necessary to remember what Agatha’s ending was in the title starring the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) which was originally released in 2021.
The nosy neighbor
In the last episode, Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness face off. This is because the villain opens rifts in the Hex so that the residents of Westville can leave and Hayward’s military enters Wanda’s reality to eliminate her, in addition to dealing with the arrival of White Vision. All of this happens while Agatha tries to absorb Wanda’s powers.
After a long struggle, the heroine wins the battle, since she wrote runes on the walls of the Hex, becoming the only one there who can use magic. Still, she doesn’t eliminate the villain. In fact, Wanda decides to trap her in the role of nosy neighbor with a promise: they would keep in touch.
In this way, “Agatha Since Always” will follow these last events, showing that Agatha will be able to free herself from the spell, but, still without her powers, she will form a new clan to recover her magic and return to being one of the most powerful witches in Marvel.
It is worth remembering that, for the new story, Kathryn Hahn in the cast names like Emma Caufield Ford (Dottie) and Debra Jo Rupp (Mrs. Hart), from “WandaVision”, and the newcomers to the MCU: Aubrey Plaza (“The White Lotus”) as Rio Vidal, Patti LuPone (“American Horror Story”) who will play Lilia Calderu, Sasheer Zamata (“Spree: Travel Without Limits”) that will bring to life Jennifer Kale, Ali Ahn (“Billions”) who won the role of Alice Wu and Joe Locke (“Heartstopper”).
