This Wednesday, the 11th, the Video Music Awards, popularly known as VMA, will take place, a memorable award ceremony from the MTV channel responsible for recognizing the main artists, songs and video clips released worldwide in the last year.
In the 2024 edition, in addition to performances by stars such as Anitta, Eminem, Katy Perry, Camila Cabello, Halsey, Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes and what’s more, the ceremony also has confirmed performances from two big names in k-pop: Lisamember of BLACKPINK, and the girl group LE SSERAFIM.

K-pop at the 2024 VMAs
This year, the VMAs will take place at the UBS Arena on Long Island, New York, with the singer Megan Thee Stallion being the host of the evening. Before the awards ceremony, there will be a pre-show, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm (Brasília time), where LE SSERAFIM will perform.
As reported by HIT!MAGAZINE, it is expected that Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha and Eunchae perform the song “CRAZY”, title track of their latest comeback. Relive the video!
About that, Lisais scheduled to perform during the main show, between the awards ceremonies, however, there is still no information about which song the BLACKPINK member will perform. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 9 pm (Brasília time).
In addition to the performances, Lisa and LE SSERAFIM are also competing for awards in the categories “Best K-Pop”, “Best Editing”, “Best Choreography”, “Best Art Direction” and “MTV PUSH Presentation of the Year”. It is worth remembering that both the pre-show and the main awards ceremony will be broadcast live on Paramount+, PlutoTV, and on the closed channel MTV Brasil.
