On the morning of this Wednesday, the 11th, the members of NewJeans, Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyeinsurprised everyone with a bombastic live broadcast held through a secondary YouTube channel, which has now been deleted, where the artists spoke publicly for the first time about the recent events of the battle between HYBE and Min Hee Jinformer CEO of ADOR, the company responsible for managing the girl group.
At the beginning of the broadcast (via Koreaboo), the idols highlighted that they decided to speak out on their own, and that at no time were they asked by Hee Jin so they could talk about the subject. According to the quintet, they chose to do the live to present the points they would like to express to the public.
The main criticisms presented by NewJeans were related to the new management of ADOR, imposed after the dismissal of Min Hee Jin from the CEO position, stating that they have come to see the conglomerate as an “inhumane company”, and that the way HYBE currently operates “is not correct and moral”.
Furthermore, Minjithe oldest member, also asked, during the broadcast, that the conglomerate and its founder, Bang Si Hyukreintegrate Min Hee Jin as CEO of ADOR until the 25th.
“What we want is for Min Hee Jin to remain as CEO, the original ADOR where management and production were combined. This is the way we can stop fighting with HYBE. If you understand our views clearly, then we ask that HYBE and Chairman Bang make the wise decision to return ADOR to its original state by the 25th.”
However, the consequences if the company does not follow the stipulated deadline were not revealed by the idol. As of the publication of this article, HYBE has not yet commented on the matter.
