One way for fans to feel closer to the artists they admire is to find out what these celebrities do when they are away from the spotlight. Among the favorite pastimes of K-pop idols, such as the members of NCT, for example, is cinema, since NCTzen (the group’s fandom) has accumulated an extensive list of feature films recommended by the members of the group in live streams, fan meetings or interviews, over the years.

With that in mind, RECREIO selected 5 films recommended by NCT ​​that fans can’t miss:

1. Avatar

Recommended many times by Renjun“Avatar” (2009) is a science fiction film that presents a whole new universe by introducing Pandora, a moon whose environment is toxic to humans, but which, due to the resources that can be explored by Earth, ends up being invaded, as scientists have created avatars so that people can freely roam the alien planet and discover how to extract everything they want from there to take to the Blue Planet.

This story introduces Jake Sully, a human sent to Pandora by an avatar who ends up infiltrating and discovering more about the local culture. Living as a true Na’vi, that is, a member of the Pandora jungle tribe, he falls in love with the planet and decides to leave his mission on Earth to fight for the survival of the alien planet.

Assisted by Jaehyun and Doyoung“(500) Days of Summer” was released in 2009 under the command of Mark Webb. The film follows Tom, a greeting card writer who ends up falling in love with his co-worker Summer, with whom he experiences several romantic moments until she suddenly dismisses him, causing him to remember the 500 days by her side to try to discover the reason why she chose not to stay by his side anymore.
