Everything we already know about MEOVV, THEBLACKLABEL’s new group

K-pop fans have been suspicious of the name of the first girl group from YG Entertainment’s sub-label, THEBLACKLABEL, since March of this year, when they discovered that the agency had registered a trademark for the word MEOVV in several categories.

CONCEPT

According to the kprofiles portal, Gawon has Korean-American nationality. The trainee was born in 2005 — that is, she is 18 or 19 years old depending on the month of her birthday — and is a former model and former trainee of YG Entertainment.

The most recent member revealed was Sooin. She appeared in the video released last Sunday, the 25th, accompanied by the phrase: “I thought we were friends”.
