The first three films in the “Harry Potter” franchise will be shown again in Cinemark theaters to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the first film, celebrated in June of this year.
On August 31st, fans will have the opportunity to watch the films “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” in several special sessions spread across the country. Tickets will go on sale starting August 27th at 10am on Cinemark’s official website or through the app. In addition, all films will be shown in 2D, with the exception of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, which will also have some sessions available in 3D.
For fans who won’t be able to watch the films again in theaters, it’s worth remembering that all the films in the saga are available on Max’s streaming service. A new series is scheduled to premiere in 2026, which will be a re-adaptation of the books in the “Harry Potter” saga, promising to explore the story with a new and more detailed approach, bringing in new actors and having direct collaboration from the author.
