Broadcaster JTBC acknowledged that the footage released was not of the incident involving BTS’s Suga riding an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol.
On the morning of Thursday, the 15th, JTBC acknowledged that the security footage that supposedly showed Sucksof BTS, driving an electric scooter under the influence of alcohol, were not the idol’s. The broadcaster published an official statement about the incident on its website; see:
JTBC released CCTV footage of an electric scooter cruising along the main road in front of the Nine One Hannam condominium complex, which was taken at the same time that police encountered Suga. Furthermore, some internet users expressed outrage at the case, clarifying that Sucks he simply lost his balance and fell out of the vehicle, without causing any major consequences to himself or other people at the scene:
🚨 He was wearing a helmet, driving at low speed and in the correct lane. The video shows that he simply lost his balance when making a turn and quickly got up.
Yoongi didn’t cause any accidents, he didn’t hurt anyone! SPREAD THE TRUTH!
