Ukrainian singer Pianoboy (Dmitry Shurov) has released the first track since the beginning of the Russian invasion. A song called Treat Your Own was published on the artist’s YouTube channel.
“I really wanted to release the song after the victory, I dreamed that it would be a song where Ukrainians would go home and rebuild the country. In the first months of the war, I could not think about music, my heart was torn and immediately choked with tears. But later, meeting with the military, doctors, police, public utilities, people forced to live in the subway and hiding in bomb shelters, I felt how loud the music was during the war, ” said Shurov.
The musician also added that “themselves”, to whom the song is sung, are those who want to build a strong, independent, rich, modern and prosperous country where children can live comfortably and happily.
