After the release of the first trailer for the live-action version of ‘Snow White’, a wave of criticism emerged on social media. See the reactions!
On the evening of last Friday, the 9th, during the first day of D23, the famous Disney convention responsible for presenting the studio’s main releases and its brands, the first official trailer for the live-action “Snow White” was revealed, a production that adapts the first animated feature film in history, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”.
During the preview, we get to see for the first time Rachel Zegler (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes) as the first official princess of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) as the Evil Queen, plus the seven dwarfs, Dopey, Grumpy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Happy, Doc and Bashful, made entirely of CGI. Check it out!
Since the release of the first image of the live-action film in October 2023, the production has received a lot of criticism about its visuals and the characterization of some characters. Now, with the release of the first trailer, fans have once again criticized on social media some issues presented in the teaser.
Among the main dissatisfactions of fans is the CGI of the dwarves, where many defend the fact that, instead of computer graphics, the production could have cast actors with dwarfism, in addition to the characterization and choice of the protagonist.
Check out some reactions!
The live action of Snow White has everything to be bad: the mirror that will have to lie, Snow White being the daughter of Beiçola, the songs were horrible and we have seven CGI dwarves who could have been actors with dwarfism to give them a chance… https://t.co/6UGIk9brtU

Snow White is ugly, the Queen is beautiful but she is a terrible actress and the CG dwarves because imagine if a dwarf actor appeared who stood out and stole some role from the dwarf there in Gotham https://t.co/U8yJczlfGs

About Snow White: Rachel is beautiful, the problem is that Beiçola hairstyle — which ironically, is identical to the one in the original animation.
Besides, Snow White was never the studio’s prettiest princess, even considering the year of the animation, which is in the 1930s! 🤡 pic.twitter.com/YwhQO4M03Q
