In 2015, JYP Entertainment announced the survival program “SIXTEEN” with the aim of forming the company’s newest girl group. In total, 16 trainees initially competed for seven spots in the debut group. However, at the end of the competition, JY Parkthe company’s founder, decided to add two more positions, forming TWICE.
The girl group debuted on October 20 of the same year with their first mini-album “The Story Begins”, accompanied by a super produced music video for the title track “Like OOH-AHH”. Remember!
Since then, in their almost nine-year career, TWICE has established themselves in the industry as one of the biggest K-pop girl groups, with millions of albums sold and sold-out world tours in the main stadiums and arenas on the planet.
With the renewal of their contracts with JYP in July 2022, in addition to continuing to release great hits as a full group, the members have also been exploring new areas, such as the debut of the girl group’s first sub-unit, MISAMO, composed of Japanese members. TWICE’s soloists

Finally, TWICE’s third soloist will be the maknae. Tzuyuwho announced last Thursday, the 1st, the release of her first mini-album entitled “abouTZU”.
