SHINee’s Minho will be going to Paris at the invitation of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to be part of the “Olympic Friends” program; find out more!
Minhofrom SHINee, has been invited by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to be part of the “Olympic Friends” program at the Paris 2024 Olympics. According to the official post on the boy group’s profile, the goal of the program is to allow artists and other famous figures who are not part of the sports industry to join in cheering for the athletes and encouraging the values of the Olympic Movement; check it out:
As an “Olympic Friend” of the IOC, Minho will travel to Paris for the 33rd edition of the Olympic Games starting on July 26th.
“Olympic Friends” is a new program created by the IOC to allow famous figures to join the Olympic Movement and promote its values.
Minho will attend various events to experience the excitement with the audience and enthusiastically cheer for the South Korean team, showing his support and encouragement.

Still in February of this year, Minho was also selected for the Gangwon Youth Olympic Games “Olympic Friends” program. He was a torchbearer in Chuncheon, the capital of Gangwon, and met with luge athletes, trying out the sport as part of the program. Until then, Minho for the Paris Olympics has not been released.
