Eminem’s latest album, The Death of Slim Shady, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, passing Taylor Swift. Associated Press reports.
Swift’s album, released in April, collected 891.34 million streams and stayed in first place for three months. She became the only woman to do so, breaking the record of Whitney Houston, whose 1987 album Whitney spent its first 11 weeks at number one.
After a four-year hiatus, Eminem released a new studio album, which garnered 220 million streams and 114,000 sales in nearly two weeks.
