In almost a month on display in Brazilian cinemas, ‘Inside Out 2’ managed to become the biggest box office hit in Brazilian history
Having been showing in Brazilian cinemas for almost a month, “Inside Out 2” continues to break records. After becoming the third highest-grossing animated film in the history of cinema, surpassing “Frozen”, also from Disney, the Pixar film has now been elected as the highest-grossing film in the history of Brazil.
According to data from Exhibitor Relations (via Omelete), without adjusting for inflation, the sequel grossed around R$358 million at the box office, surpassing Marvel’s “Avengers: Endgame” (2019), which had grossed R$353 million.
Disney’s INSIDE OUT 2 is now the #1 highest grossing movie of all time in Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, Chile and Uruguay.

Worldwide, “Inside Out 2” currently has a total of $1.35 billion, and is behind only “Super Mario Bros. — The Movie,” which grossed $1.36 billion in 2023.
Under the direction of Kelsey Mannthe sequel to the 2016 Oscar winner for Best Animated Feature, takes audiences back into the head of Riley, who is entering adolescence and will have to face new challenges, including the arrival of four new emotions: Shame, Boredom, Envy and Anxiety.
