He is a foil artist, considered by many to be the most technically advanced in fencing.
“I saw Laura Flessel, from Guadeloupe like me (he was born in Guyana but raised in Guadeloupe, editor’s note), to become an Olympic champion in Atlanta, that I wanted to do fencing.” In 1996, Enzo Lefort was not yet 5 years old. He quickly outgrew this discipline, where elegance and finesse competed with tactical intelligence and precision.
At the age of 32, he holds the record for the length of his weapon. Two Olympic team medalists: silver (2016), gold (2020) – two-time individual world champion… Paris.
“To fight for two Olympic titles in front of my loved ones and the French, it’s the chance of a lifetime.” Faced with the pressure of the challenge, Enzo Lefort found his balance by pursuing his other passion, photography. He proves to be as gifted, quick and instinctive in his touches as those around him on the ground. This film artist has already published three photo books and one manga. A Louis Vuitton ambassador, he has just been released Diary of an athlete, his photo diary of a year of Olympic preparation. Waiting for the winning shot.
