Discover which songs are included in the scenes of ‘Despicable Me 4’, a film that premiered in theaters last Thursday, 04

Last Thursday, the 4th, ‘Despicable Me 4’ premiered in Brazilian cinemas, following Gru on a new mission: being the father of a newborn baby. After all, the newest member of the family is Gru Jr., the result of his relationship with agent Lucy. The responsibility won’t be easy, since the little boy inherited a bit of his father’s evil and loves to torment him.

More than that, Gru will have to protect his children and wife from Maxime Le Mal, a criminal mastermind who, after leaving prison, joins his girlfriend Valentina to complete a plan of revenge against Gru. Relive the trailer!

To add excitement to the adventure, there’s nothing better than a soundtrack full of hits, since music helps create feelings and emotional memories in people, giving meaning to the stories presented on the big screen — so much so that songs by BTS and BLACKPINK were included to accompany the moments experienced by Gru and Maxime, as well as those in which Lucy, Margo, Edith, Agnes, the youngest of the family, and of course: the Minions appear!

In the case of BTS, the song selected was “Dynamite”, released in 2020 as a single from their fifth studio album “Be”. The lyrics reflect on the joy that the little things in life can provide.

As for BLACKPINK, “Boombayah” was the chosen track. The song appeared on music streaming platforms in 2016 along with “Whistle”, as tracks from the group’s debut single album titled “Square One”. Relive the MV!
