“Our struggle for both the return of Crimea and the return of its treasures began simultaneously – 10 years ago 10 long years of trials and brilliant work of Ukrainian and foreign lawyers, workers in museum and diplomats are necessary for their culture, historical justice and cooperation. free people to win,” – said Zelenskaya.
It is reported that the unique exhibits are related to the cultures of different peoples who lived on the peninsula: Greeks, Scythians, Sarmatians, Goths, Huns. The treasures were built in the fifth century BC. to the fifth century AD

Let’s remember that more than 550 exhibits from four Crimean museums were on display in Amsterdam in 2014, when the Russian Federation annexed Crimea. For almost ten years, Ukraine tried to return them. Finally, a year ago the Supreme Court of the Netherlands decided to transfer the exhibition collection to Ukraine. The return of the exhibits took place thanks to the joint work of representatives of a foreign law firm that cooperated with the Ministry of Justice and Ukrainian lawyers, as well as teams from the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the Dutch Embassy in Ukraine.
