Next Thursday, the 4th, ‘Despicable Me 4’, a sequel produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures which will introduce fans of the franchise to a new member of Gru’s family, the youngest Gru Jr., the result of his relationship with Agent Lucy, will premiere in national cinemas bringing a new challenge for the supervillain, as he will have to worry about keeping the little one safe while facing an old acquaintance who has returned for revenge. Dubbed in the original version by Steve Carell (The Office), Gru is voiced by actor and comedian Leandro Hassum (Paradise Family) in the Brazilian dubbing.
Lucy
Dubbed by Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaid Mission), the character Lucy is the one who, nationally, receives the voice of Maria Clara Gueiros (In the Times of the Emperor).
Margo
Gru’s adopted daughter, Margo is the older sister of Agnes and Edith, voiced by Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) in the original dub version, and Bruna Laynes (Bolt — Superdog) in the Portuguese version.
Edith
Middle sister Edith gets her voice through dubbing by Dana Gaierthis being the main role of the actress’s career. Nationally, the character is voiced by the voice actress Ana Elena Bittencourtwho also voiced Kady in ‘My Wife and Kids’.
Agnes
The youngest of the trio of sisters, Agnes originally has the voice of the little one Nev Scharrelbut in Brazil, it is recognized for dubbing Pamella Rodrigues (Adventure Time).
Maxime Le Mal
The villain of the plot who will look for Gru after leaving prison is Maxime Le Mal, a character voiced by
Will Ferrell (Barbie) in English and Jorge Lucas (The Flash) in Portuguese.
