BTS’ Jin Will Carry Torch at 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, BIGHIT Says

It was confirmed through BigHit Music, the company that manages Jin’s career, that he will participate in the Olympic Torch relay; find out more!

Last Tuesday, 02, the South Korean portal Dispatch reported that Jinfrom BTS, would be one of the bearers of the Olympic Torch for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The news left fans euphoric and, fortunately, it was confirmed through BigHit Music, the company that manages the idol’s career, that he will indeed participate in the relay representing South Korea.

The specific schedule for the Torch Relay has not been publicly released, but it is expected to Jin carry the Torch on July 27, the same date as the opening ceremony. In addition, Big Hit Music stated that the idol will participate in the relay “spreading a message of harmony and peace.”

The Olympic Torch, which is always lit in Greece, arrived in France last June and will pass through more than 400 locations before the opening ceremony. Around 11,000 torchbearers will run with the Torch, including astronauts, workers, athletes, Holocaust survivors, victims of terrorist attacks, among others. In Brazil, three days before the opening ceremony, former Brazilian soccer player Rai will represent our country, taking part in the 200 meter relay in the Versailles region.
