The statue of Mercenário Gargarela was positioned in the city of Hong Kong to promote ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’; look!
Our favorite Chatty Mercenary got a giant statue in Hong Kong! Located at the Ocean Terminal in Harbor City, the Deadpool statue was positioned on the observatory deck against the city’s beautiful skyline on June 29th, and can be photographed by fans until August 31st.
The statue was placed to promote the release of ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, the first film about the anti-hero under the Disney label after the company bought Fox, which will premiere on July 24 in Hong Kong. In Brazil, the feature film will be released in theaters a day later.
According to Time Out magazine, there will also be a 1:1 scale Hot Toys Deadpool figure and 1:6 scale ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ collectible figures on display at the entrance to Ocean Terminal.
