The little one was in a happy mood this Saturday, June 15, during Trooping the Color. Moments before a very serious air show, she flipped out for a cheeky little dance that wowed the internet.
Little Prince Louis was (rather) wise to be surprised at this grand ceremony this time. This Saturday, June 15, Kate Middleton and Prince William’s youngest son, 6, accompanied his parents, as well as siblings George (10) and Charlotte (8) to the military reunion. A colorful parade celebrating Charles III’s official birthday. As usual, the monarch’s grandson camped out with his family on Buckingham Palace to enjoy several military parades before listening to the British national anthem. But at the top of the building, the little boy, as usual, played some pranks, causing the amusement of the whole cobweb.
In one of the videos capturing the event, Prince Louis appears in a navy blue suit alongside his big sister, minutes before the start of the royal air parade. Visibly impatient, he, who had earlier been seen pulling back a curtain bordering the balcony of the Institution, then proceeded to dance confidently atop his tower, wiggling his rear while looking amused at Princess Charlotte.
“Isn’t she the most beautiful?”
With his little rain dance, the English-adored entertainer has once again generated amusement and applause from the internet. “Isn’t she the cutest asking about X? He is a free spirit. He is full of life and loves every minute of it.” But still. “I love this little boy’s cheerful spirit. don’t change anything”; “They have made millions of people very happy.” And others compare. “Louis honestly reminds me of the brashness that Harry displayed at the same age. Louie is definitely the “class clown”. I adore !”.
Trooping the Color is a highly anticipated event each year as it marks the Sovereign’s military birthday. Several parades are held by soldiers of the Irish Guards while the royal family greets the British from their balcony. About 1,400 recruits paraded for this new ceremony, followed by 200 horses, 400 musicians and a flight of 70 aircraft.
