G-Dragon will be a visiting professor at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) for a specified period
G-Dragonfrom BIGBANG, was appointed visiting professor at KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), a public research university located in Daejeon, South Korea, where he received a two-year leave of absence, remaining in the position until June 4, 2026, as reported by the Soompi portal.
The position was announced after the idol participated, alongside Choi Yong HoCEO of Galaxy Corporation, and Lee Kwang Hyungpresident of KAIST, from the talk show “Innovate Korea 2024”, held on June 5 at KAIST headquarters in Daejeon, where he was able to talk about K-pop and future technologies related to artificial intelligence (AI).

I look forward to a great synergy, or a ‘big bang’, through the meeting between the best experts in science and technology and my experience in the entertainment field”, G-Dragon told the press.
In addition to being a visiting professor, G-Dragon He has also been named a global ambassador for KAIST so that he can promote the university beyond South Korean borders.
