Since the birth of his son Inigo seven months ago, James Middleton has been enjoying family outings and parties every weekend. This Saturday, June 1, Kate Middleton’s younger brother shared with his fans some of these precious moments with his French wife Alize Thevenet, their only son, and their Labradors. In one of the regular sequences (the third of the carousel), we can see how the young mother and Inigo (the first name of Basque origin means “proud”) are having fun together in the shade of a tree. The video is heart-wrenching, tender and soothing, accompanied by two photos of a small child looking back towards the horizon.

James Middleton also has a pack of six dogs: Mabel, Zulu, Inca, Luna, Nala and Isla. In January 2023, the latter announced the death of his 15-year-old cocker spaniel Ella, to whom he owes the meeting with Alize. He also dedicated his memoirs to his first dog. Meet Ella. the dog who saved my life, which will be released in September 2024. James Middleton is always thinking about her. “I wish these moments could last forever. It’s all thanks to Ella. […] He was the one who introduced me to Alize, a few years later we got married, about a year later Inigo came. Ella and Inigo have never met, but Ella is with us every moment,” he wrote in his Instagram post.

Kate’s cancer

The sweetness of this day contrasts with the recent trials James Middleton has endured since the start of 2024. Prince William’s brother was indeed mourning the death of another of his dogs, with whom he was very close, but also had to deal with those dogs. The cancer of his sister, Kate Middleton, who announced in a video published last March that she had started chemotherapy. The latter said touching words for the Princess of Wales. “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. We will climb this with you like a family,” he wrote on his Instagram account a few hours after the official announcement.
