It is worth remembering that, currently, both idols serve together in the 15th Infantry Division of the South Korean Army, despite having enlisted in different locations and dates.
This is because the MONSTA X member reported to the Armed Forces first, on July 24, 2023, exactly where he serves today. The BTS member enlisted on December 11, 2023, in the Republic of Korea Army Military Police Unit, also known as the Special Service Team (SDT).
In addition to Joohoneywho will be dismissed on January 23, 2025, currently, MONSTA X also has three other members performing mandatory military service: Minhyuk (dismissed on September 30, 2024), Kihyun (dismissed on February 21, 2025) and Hyungwon (dismissed on May 13, 2025).
