Would Daniel Radcliffe participate in the Harry Potter series on Max? Actor reveals!

Daniel Radcliffe, actor who played the character Harry Potter between 2001 and 2011, reveals whether he will be in the new series of the wizarding universe on Max

Daniel Radcliffe, actor who played the character Harry Potter in all eight films of the franchise, revealed whether he would participate in the new series in the wizarding universe that is in the process of being developed by Warner. Bros Discovery. In a recent interview with E! News, the artist pointed out that he has no interest in returning to the role that marked his career:

I don’t think so. I think they (Max) very wisely want a break (with the films). And I don’t know if it would work if we were part of that. I’m going to be political about this and not deal in hypotheticals.”

Last April, the actor also lamented the transphobic statements of J.K. Rowling, writer of the Harry Potter books. In an interview with The Atlantic magazine, Daniel Radcliffe says he felt disappointed and upset by what happened:

Obviously the character wouldn’t have existed without her, so probably nothing in my life would have happened the way it did without that person. But that doesn’t mean you have to give up what you believe in someone’s name for the rest of your life (…) I feel very sad thinking about the person I knew, the times we met, the books she wrote and the world he created – all of this, for me, is deeply empathetic.

Max’s new series will readapt the books of the Harry Potter saga, and the episodes will involve the author herself behind the scenes. Production is expected to reach Max in 2026.
