Switzerland won the competition. They received 591 points from the jury and the audience. Croatia took second place with 547 points, and Ukraine received 453 points.

In particular, they took second place in the final of the competition. The producers placed them in this spot due to the fact that the performers released a “producer’s choice” during the draw. The show’s director, Tania Muinho, was outraged by this choice. This reaction was caused by the observation that not a single country made it into the top three, let alone won. All the participants who performed under the second number got the last places in Eurovision.
However, alyona alyona and Jerry Heil broke this myth by receiving bronze in Eurovision 2024. The artists have already commented on their bronze medal. They thanked the audience for their support.
“Your support is incredible! We are at the “death spot” statistically, everyone who was number two on the air got places from You and I reached 3rd place! said.
In addition, alyona alyona and Jerry Heil noted that they also fulfilled the purpose for which they came – to remind the world about the captured Ukrainian military.
“And once again, we focused on Ukraine and remembered the prisoners Azova and we were surprised by the innovative sound of Ukrainian music and the professionalism and creativity of the team!” added the artists.
