After leaving the post of Secretary of State for Social and Inclusive Economy and Community Life, Marlene Schiappa has enjoyed a completely different life. The former politician, who is also known for equality between women and men, recently announced the upcoming release of a “50 Shades of Grey”-style novel featuring the minister as the main character. While waiting for the publication of this work, he was also able to take advantage of the sunny days, taking a week off thanks to the victory and Ascension Day. In a video shared on her Instagram account, Marlene Schiapa shared a very relaxed video of her vacation with her companion, businessman Matthias Savignac, both surrounded by their respective families.

Both met in March 2023 in New York, when the former politician was on an official visit to the United Nations. The love at first sight between them was such that it prompted her to divorce her spouse. “I’m still surprised by the fact that I met someone with whom I have such a feeling. We write to each other all day, we call each other 20 times a day… I don’t go to dinner anymore if Matthias isn’t there,” she confided.
