Amid the ADOR X HYBE conflict, NewJeans fans protest so that the group is not harmed
HYBE became the scene of new protests last Tuesday, 7th. Information shared by the Allkpop portal states that the action was coordinated by NewJeans fans, known as Bunnies, who sent trucks with huge LED screens that broadcast messages in support to the group and ADOR management. Look:
Among the texts are the phrases: “The Bunnies support NewJeans, not HYBE”, “The Bunnies want NewJeans to be with Min Hee Jin [CEO da ADOR]”, “HYBE must guarantee the activities of NewJeans and the CEO Min Hee Jin”, “Independent label is just a joke. Please focus on promoting the return of NewJeans!”, and more.
The protest comes shortly after the controversy that HYBE, and not NewJeans fans, was responsible for sending the trucks that arrived at the HYBE building on April 24 with messages against Min Hee JinCEO of ADOR, as “Min Hee Jinstop slandering the other HYBE artists” and “The Bunnies [fãs do NewJeans] support artist NewJeans by HYBE.”
More about the HYBE X ADOR case
It is worth remembering that HYBE and ADOR have been in conflict since April 22, when the audit that HYBE initiated against ADOR and its CEO became public, Min Hee Jinafter discovering an alleged attempt by the agency to separate itself from the conglomerate.
The accusation was denied by ADOR in a statement and by Min Hee Jin at an urgent press conference. Furthermore, ADOR presented another reason for the disagreement between the companies, this being possible plagiarism by ILLIT, a new girl group from Belift Lab (a company that also belongs to the conglomerate), on the concept of NewJeans.
The process is ongoing.
