The second semi-final will be held on May 9, the grand final of the competition will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
On Tuesday, May 7, the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 took place in the Swedish city of Malmo.
Contestants from 15 countries performed on stage, but only ten made it to the final, which will take place this Saturday, May 11.
Based on the audience’s voting results, they advance to the next stage Serbia, Slovenia, Portugal, Ukraine, Lithuania, Finland, Cyprus, Croatia, Ireland and Luxembourg.
Representatives from 26 countries will compete for first place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Specifically, on May 11, 20 winners of both semi-finals will perform on stage in Malmö. Last year’s winner, Sweden, and the representatives of the Big Five – Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Spain and France – will automatically qualify for the finals.
As for Ukraine, which this year is represented by the duo Jerry Heil and alyona alyona, after the results were announced, a draw for the first finalists took place. The singers got it producer selection. That means, the order of their performance in the final will be determined by the producer of the show.
The reason for introducing the new rule is the desire to create maximum impact from a series of performances.

Earlier it was reported that representatives of Ukraine won the right to represent our country in the finals of the competition.
